LONDON(Raza Syed/Sohail Loun):The second 7 Day Literary and Art Week 2018, which brought together writers, poets, intellectuals and experts from  all over the world and various walks of life, concluded on 7th Oct 2018(Sunday )with a musical night of dazzling performances in London.

The festival was launched a Fitzroy House where guests and participants from throughout the UK and abroad were warmly welcomed at a ceremony hosted by Sarah Eicker and Anna Lari.

The second Literary and Art Week organised by the Eurasian Creative Guild  was a celebration of new fiction, nonfiction and poetry as well as painting, drawing and sculpture by contemporary Eurasian writers and artists.

Comprising a dynamic and varied programme of 25 events, it showcased work by both established and emerging writers, poets and artists  many of whom were visiting or being represented in the UK for the first time, through readings, discussions and networking, as well as exhibitions interspersed with outstanding performances by renowned musicians.

Guests were then invited to the 5th Base Gallery in Whitechapel for the opening of ‘Living and Dreaming’; an exhibition of contemporary Belarusian art organised by Belarus’ Belbrand Association and the Art Haos Gallery in collaboration with Pro Art & Co.

This was the first time that selected artists had displayed their work outside Belarus and offered audiences a rare opportunity to witness how contemporary art is evolving in the post USSR era. Influences of the country’s grand-masters Mark Chagall and Leon Bakst could clearly be discerned, alongside subjects drawn from traditional folklore but there were also international references including Chinese scroll paintings and Impressionist-style landscapes. In addition to the 5th Base gallery, art was also exhibited in the other venues and altogether, 20 artists, from 5 countries (Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus) were presented including : Gulnara Makhmudova, Gulzada Hamra, Yulia Krylova, Alesia Isa, Alexander Perlin, Maria Kosheleva, Anastasiya Shilyagina, Maria Larionova, Pavel Grebennikov, Roman Sakovich, Varvara Viborova, Olga Grouss, Alexander Yushkevich, Egor Batalyonok, Nicolay Buschik, Alexandra Demidova, Vasilij Kostuchenko, Ivan Semiletov, Anna Silivonchik, Alexandra Shibneva.

The 4th day of Literary Week began at the Celebrity Drop-in Centre at St. Peter’s Anglo-Catholic Church in Clapham, London, hosted by former Chair and long-time champion of ECG, Rev.David Parry. David was then joined by Danielle Irandoost at Yunus Emre, to conduct a discussion on the intriguing interplay between art, espionage and the occult sciences within a distinctively Central Asian context whilst referencing amongst others, writer, painter, theosophist, archaeologist and philosopher,Nicholas Roerich.

Talking about the Festival, Guest and participants said that the festival had made a mark on the cultural life here and stating that Eurasian Creative Guild has become “a prominent voice of Central Asian’s intellectual journey.”

Anna Komar (Belarus) closed the session with a selection of deeply moving poems from“Recycled”, inspired by a young woman’s harrowing experiences of love and abuse. She was joined by her editor John Farndon who warmly endorsed her poetic talent.Perhaps this was the most remarkable programme of the event.

Marat Akhmedjanov founder of Eurasian Creative Guild, thanked all the literary community for making the festival a grand success. He said that the platform is an institution with a huge vision and an ecosystem of multiple projects.

Talking about the Festival, Guest and participants said that the festival had made a mark on the cultural life here and stating that Eurasian Creative Guild has become “a prominent voice of Central Asian’s intellectual journey.”

Lost Civilizations Conference — An Update

The First International Conference on the Nephilim was held in Central London in February 2014. Organiser David Parry filled in a bit more detail.

The flyer advertising this unique event can now be downloaded from the Internet Archive. The previous report can be found here. The man behind it is Elchin Afandiyev fan David Parry, who is currently wearing his other hat as a pagan priest.

He interrupted his busy schedule to answer a few questions.

Alexander Baron: How many are you expecting now?

David Parry: Difficult to estimate numbers. However, we have had enquiries from America and Norway, let alone the UK.

AB: I gather you have added an excursion or two; what are these?

DP: I will be leading potential excursions through "esoteric London" and visiting such places as the Templar Church, Freemasons Hall, along with usual tourist attractions.

AB: Your confirmed speakers are?

DP: Our speakers are known internationally. The Reverend Jim Wilhelmsen, for example, is a prominent Evangelical preacher in the US. Also, Andrew Gough has a background in film, independent research and the occult. On top of this, Darren Storer is the rising star of "Psychic London", Andrew Collins is an authority on Earth Mysteries, and Klaus Dona (whose background is in museum curation) has become a regular contributor at a number of international seminars. Perhaps the most significant, however, is Vladimir Weidemann, an ex-BBC journalist, author, (genuine) mystic, and researcher with extremely impressive links at the Academy in Moscow.

AB: I read a book by Andrew Collins years ago, about psychic questing, or perhaps that should be psychic jesting?

DP: I suspect that Mr Collins is serious in his endeavours. Personally, I was introduced to psychic questing (similar to Iain Sinclair's notion psychogeography?) by the author and magician Jack Gale. To my mind, it seems to be an intuitive grasp of environment and history. That said, I have never tried it myself.

AB: And this is aimed at who?

DP: An interested general audience. We are looking at sources of sponsorship at the moment for future events. I will be both convener and Master of Ceremonies. Sylvio Mares (my assistant) and Roman Sharov (IT) are helping with the practicalities.

AB: Where is all this leading?

DP: My own view is that this is a DaDa conference. On a personal level, I suspect the Nephilim will remain a Biblical mystery, and the crystal skulls are objets d'art. Hence, my intention is to bring surrealist themes to London in the form of imaginative artifacts and dreamlike exhibition.

Event: On the 4th October (this Thursday) at about 2.30pm: Art, Espionage, and Occultism.

David William Parry

David William Parry (born 25 August 1958), is a published author, poet, dramaturge, Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts, active Libertarian and Valentinian (Gnostic) Bishop. He was the founder and chair of Gruntlers' Group.

In the early eighties he moved to London from Fareham in Hampshire. After living in South London for a few years, he graduated in religious studies at King's College London (1990). Later, in 1996, he obtained a Master's degree in Pastoral Theology at Heythrop College, London.

Career

Parry was teaching contemporary English literature, drama, language and semantics. He has given readings as a poet and practising Pagan; delivered lectures, offered sermons and performed public rituals across the United Kingdom since 1996.

Parry founded Gruntlers' in 2008 as a loosely connected group of "Imagist" writers. By November 2009 this group had developed into "Gruntlers' Arts Group", which staged regular multimedia events at the Poetry Place in Covent Garden.

Also, as producer, director and an actor in Gruntlers' Cabaret, he helped to develop Gruntlers Theatre, which performed the "The Botanist Monsieur Jordan and The Sorcerer-Dervish Mastali Shah", written by Mirza Fatali Akhundov, in 2010 at the "Arts Educational School", where he played the character of "Lord Hatamkhan". In the late autumn of the same year, Gruntlers' introduced Imadaddin Nasimi to the English speaking public at Pushkin House, London. In December 2011, he directed the first English language production of "Shakespeare: a comedy in ten scenes, both serious and tragic" (by the Azerbajiani playwright Elchin Afandiyev). Gruntlers' were a three pronged Arts Collective, consisting of a Theatrical Company, a literary salon and an international multimedia cabaret. In the tradition of DaDa, Absurdism and Surrealism, the principal intention of Gruntlers' Theatre was to promote Fringe arts in a contemporary setting.

Gruntlers' finished in 2012 and Parry started "Allting UK", to promote Literature and the Arts. Following financial problems, however, this company has now become Theo-Humanist Arts Ltd.

Recently, he wrote "A preface with smoke and mirrors" as an introduction to Elchin's first collection of plays in English.

Since 2013, David started additional career as a producer at The Azerbaijan Russian State Theatre.

In 2013, David Parry was accused of being a Neo-Fascist by Indymedia UK and Circle Ansuz.

On 3 June 2013 David Parry co-convened an academic conference "Quest of the Heart" with Dr. Minna Koivuniemi, where he read an academic paper, entitled "Henrik Ibsen, Love and the Staging of Kierkegaard's World View". The conference was co-sponsored by the University of Helsinki and University of London.

In July 2013 David Parry produced Elchin Afandief's theatre play "Citizens of Hell", which was reviewed by Digital Journal.

In January 2014, David was made a celebrant for the Fellowship of Independent Celebrants (FOIC). This makes him the first recognised Godhi in United Kingdom with authority to officiate at weddings, funerals, and Child Namings.

On top of this, David has recently extended the reach of Theo-Humanist Arts by co-hosting on the alternative podcast show THA Talks with Paul Obertelli. Furthermore, reviving his credentials in British Surrealism, David has started to co-produce, occasionally write, and direct, for Inlight TV, internet television station.

In December 2014, Parry made history by staging a scene from his play "A Day in the Light" (based on the meeting between Albert Schweitzer and James Cameron) at the British House of Lords.

David Parry and Jez Turner founded the extremist club, as a way to blend serious arts and active politics in 2015.

Parry is convening Arts, Spirituality, and Cern through Kickstarter as a two day conference in February 2016.

Comrade David Parry, as well as a man of Cultural and Spiritual Depth, is a man of honour, with a passion for Eurasian matters.  In February, he attended an event commemorating the Khojaly Massacre - an event ignored by the media, which would rather it was forgotten (although it has been so well suppressed, that not many people know of it).  SMPBI operates in the spirit of respectfu Inter-Nationalism, and so we applaud David for his commitment to justice for Azerbaijan.  Revolutionary Patriotic Socialism is an ideology which understands that Borders matter, but that what occurs outside our Borders does not become irrelevant.  The struggle for Freedom in any country, is a part of the struggle for every country.....

LONDON: Azerbaijani Embassy in London host an evening to remember the victims of the Khojaly Massacre. A saddening event also known as the Khojaly tragedy, or Khojaly Genocide. An atrocity wherein at least 161 ethnic Azerbaijani civilians from the town of Khojaly were killed in an unprovoked attack. Indeed, after welcoming his guests, the current Ambassador, His Excellency, Tahir Taghizadeh, spoke eloquently about 26th February 1992, when Armenian and, partially, the 366th CIS regiment, assaulted these civilians during the Nagorno-Karabakh War. Overall, a pointless act of aggression equally concerning Human Rights Watch, the Memorial Human Rights Centre, as well as other international observers this day. Obviously, official statistics are at variance, although the death toll claimed by Azerbaijani authorities is actually 613 civilians; including 106 women and 63 children.As such, this onslaught witnessed the largest massacre in the course of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Among those guests gathered to commemorate the casualties was Editor-in-Chief Eurasian Perspective, Rev. Dr. David Parry – a long term friend of the Azerbaijani Republic, along with Javanshir Feyziyev MP (from Azerbaijan), Mr. Neil Watson, Editor-in-Chief of the European Azerbaijan Society and Dr. Ali Tekin Atalar, the serving Chairman of Azerbaijan House. All in all, this yearly remembrance continues to stand firm in its support of the victims, the concomitant refugee crisis resulting from an attempt to ethnically cleanse this region, as well as the general principle that innocents everywhere must never simply be swept under the carpet of history.

Comrades, I have been asked to share some of my reasons for recently resigning as a bishop with the Old Catholic Holy See of Antioch and, subsequently, preparing to transfer my clergy credential to the Liberal Catholic Church (LCC).

With hindsight, a far from easy decision, although if one sincerely believes that their are points of reference above ideology, a necessary step for me to have taken. Stated so, I have come to understand the Old Catholic Movement as "reactionary" - albeit in an extremely innocent and Romantic sense.

Indeed, while they reject clearly manipulative doctrines such as "Papal Infallibility," the Old Catholic aim is to return to an "idealised" Church as it "existed" before the 1850's: a manifestly nostalgic aim. However, the Liberal Catholic Church legally broke away from the Old Catholics some time ago to form a much more culturally active, socially progressive and, dare one say. deeply mystical body, with the sole purpose of raising humanity to ever-greater heights of consciousness - at the same time as discovering an innately perennial outlook, whereby each religion is seen as a stepping stone to increasingly expansive metaphysical truths.

Hence, as these issues clarified for me personally,(not to mention being unexpectedly caught between the various warring factions inside the Holy See), I felt the Angels were calling me to stand firm by an openly theosophical tradition seeking to unify humankind at the most fundamental level of our lives. Confessed thus, please pray for me.

Hope Not Hate - The UK Government's Censorship Police

Dave’s Free Speech Club was targeted by extreme pro-censorship activists and entirely false things were reported about Dave and the club on the website of “Hope Not Hate.”

Dave is a marvellous example of the English eccentric. He is a multi-faith practitioner with a deeply spiritual perspective on life. He is also the Rev Dave Parry, ordained priest of the Old Catholic Church. For us in the SMPBI, Davis is our Comrade, and our Cultural Officer, standing up for Working Class culture in the face of bourgeois cultural theft.  And his motive to facilitate opposing groups talking to each other is funny notions like “if we listen to each other we can understand each other and solve our common problems”. Dave is a Liberal in the true classic sense, someone into Freedom: for everyone.

As he tells THA TALKS: “I am very cross and unhappy. This is lying, mis-representation, this odious and poisonously toxic invective, aimed at myself, without the slightest regard for professional ethics or accuracy”

“Extremists club” started in the summer of 2014, and for 3 years it operated completely harmlessly and non-controversially. A crowd of around 30 would gather in the pub, listen to speakers, and challenge their positions in Questions & Answers. Beer was drunk, commerce was engaged, everyone was happy, and people listened to each other.

And the name “Extremists club” was just a joke, in the 17th century Britain had “radicals” clubs and the idea was just a new version of that. Left wing and Right wing would meet and seek common ground where they could find it, and in that, Dave Parry was certainly about “good work”.

But perhaps that is a frightening thing for some people. In the summer of 2017 a young man started to attend, who introduced himself as Eric Helstrom: although it now seems very unlikely that was his real name. For “Eric” wasn’t there for fair play. He covertly recorded people and re-edited them salaciously, then tried to interest Channel 4 in broadcasting his footage. Fair play to Channel 4, they told him to beat it, but it seems Helstrom’s accusations reached other ears.

Especially, Helstrom’s tall tales are being reported unquestioned on the website of “Hope Not Hate”… “Hobson also spoke on the same subject at The Extremists Club in October 2016, a small monthly discussion group based in Soho, founded by Turner and prominent right-wing occultist David Parry. Raymond was seen entering an Extremists Club meeting in April, which was addressed by veteran anti-feminist and Nazi-apologist Claire Khaw, who was due to speak on the importance of establishing a one-party theocracy in the UK to eradicate the “matriarchy.” (and they also had a go at free speech podcast THA TALKS).

Hope not Hate is a sinister “political charity” that also gets payments from the British State and the European Union to maintain a private surveillance database of UK “Extremists”. “But Hope not Hate” has extreme positions of its own: Extreme Globalism, Extreme Europhilia, Extreme activism for mass uncontrolled immigration. And in their eyes, to be “Extreme” is to commit the simple offence: of disagreeing with THEM!

HNH is a globalist left wing pressure group based in the United Kingdom founded in 2004 by Nick Lowles, a former editor of the "anti-fascist" Searchlight magazine. It is a registered charity and receives its funding through donations and from the Department for Communities and Local Government.

 Through 2017 they assigned and heavily financed a number of journalists to infiltrate various right wing activist groups and spread the content over the Internet and use for documentaries, seeking to "expose" the Alt right, as well as attacking other far left wing groups.

 One of these journalists named Patrik Hermansson decided to report Rev. Dr. David Parry's "Extremists Club" as a supporter of far right extremism, partly due to Paul and David both being invited by former guests on THA Talks to some right wing seminars and public dinners to meet other potential guests. He also included an infiltration and filming of a separate publicly promoted open pagan ritual that Paul often attends which they dramatically described as an "Esoteric Nazi Ritual". In attendance for this ritual was a diverse and select group including Right Wing activist Stead Steadman as well as well know authors and many of which attended after it was advertised through the on line public "meetup" website. 

As regularly promoted on THA Talks. The Extremist club is small monthly event founded by Rev. Dr. David Parry that involves poetry, drama, as well as outlandish talks on science, politics, religion and culture. At times offensive material that provokes views from all sides of the political and religious land scape is aired, but this is something the club has been proud of preserving. It was set it up originally as a free speech hub following Theresa Mays announcement of trying to outlaw "extremism" a very vague and subjective thing to ban. Hence the name "The Extremists Club". After a break to find a new location the club was up and running and looking forward to 2018!, only it seems "Hope Not Hate" does not like these events of free speech taking place and even after being invited to come and speak them selves, they pressured the club into closing by intimidating it with libelous claims and assassinating the character of the club, Rev. Dr. David Parry, and associates.

In this edition David and Paul discuss HNH, their attacks, and the future of the Extremists club - a future which sadly was stopped dead by the UK regime via its censorship operatives, Hope Not Hate.

New Events, and Call for Improvement

It has been said that as an organisation, SMPBI is in danger of becoming known as the 'invisible ones'.  Although this criticism is a little harsh, it is true that we have not been particularly good at publicising events which people interested who we are and what we stand for, can come to.

We have held (or joined under our own banner) demonstrations from Newcastle to Swansea.  We have stood on Picket Lines, supporting striking Workers.  We have taken part in campaigns to have paedophiles evicted from areas close to schools.  We have been active in animal welfare demonstrations.  We have been active in many areas, covering many issues which matter to the Working Class and to the Nature we are a part of.  But, alas, it is true, that we have not been particularly good at advertising prior to the event.  'Not particularly good'?  Let us be frank: we have been particularly bad at self-publicity.

The site now has an 'Events' page which will have events added to it, before they happen.  Publishing reports of what we have done, but without giving people the chance to join us as supporters -and maybe as a result to join us as Comrades - is not good enough.

We aim to identify our weaknesses as a means of overcoming them.  To that end, we invite all readers of this site - Members, Supporters, or others - to get in touch with suggestions.  This way, we will grow.
